 November 21, Fineko/abc.az. It is planned to build 1,268 apartments in 11 blocks in the 2nd residential quarter of Aghdam, ABC.AZ reports, referring to the Service for Restoration, Construction & Management in Aghdam, Fuzuli and Khojavend districts.

Construction of 203 individual houses and catering facilities is ongoing Sarijali village, 719 in Khidirli village, and 292 in Kengerli village. ITV informs that the first resettlement to Aghdam will begin at the end of this year.

According to Service’s press secretary Leyla Sarabi, Bash Garband village of Aghdam is one of the largest. She noted that the village will be built within Smart Village Project.

"Slovak engineers will implement smart solutions in the village at the expense of Azerbaijan’s financing. The total area of the village is 476 hectares. At the initial stage, it is planned to build 851 individual houses on an area of 275 hectares. It is also supposed to use alternative energy sources, green energy, waste disposal," the spokeswoman said.
