November 21, Fineko/abc.az. "The problems of employment will not end, but will continue as society develops."

ABC.AZ informs that Labor & Social Protection Minister of Azerbaijan Sahil Babayev made this statement at a joint meeting of the Milli Majlis committees on labor and social policy and on economic policy, industry and entrepreneurship.

He noted that today there is unemployment in the most developed countries of the world: "Today, as a result of serious socio-economic reforms in Azerbaijan, the number of employment contracts has increased by 600,000, and by 500,000 at the expense of the private sector. The problem of employment is not a completely solvable problem. The State Employment Agency is a kind of bridge. The role of the employment agency is to direct job seekers to the jobs created. Our economy needs to create more jobs so that people can go there. Today, one of our main problems is related to the skilled workforce. The State Employment Agency is going through a very big restructuring. It currently implements programs covering 200,000-400,000 people per year. But no matter how much you improve the tools, you can't go beyond the available workforce and jobs. This is what we have today."
