November 22, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaiajn exported 695,657 tons of cement for $43.14 million for Jan-Oct 2024.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Customs Committee that country’s cement exports grew in value terms by $2.35 million, or 5.8% against Jan-Oct 2023, and in quantitative terms declined by 16,790 tons, or 2.4%.

In 10 months of 2023, the country exported 712,744 tons of cement for $40.788 million.

The average export price of 1 kg of cement exported by Azerbaijan for Jan-Oct 2024 was about 0.11 manats. However, in the same period of 2023, this figure was 0.10 manats. This means an increase of 0.1 manat or 8.3% year-on-year.

Cement made up 0.19% of total exports this year, while the non-oil sector accounted for about 1.54%.
