November 25, Fineko/abc.az. New municipalities have been created in Azerbaijan through the unification of municipalities.

ABC.AZ reports that the relevant law was signed by President Ilham Aliyev.

Under law, the following municipalities have been established in the city of Baku:

In Khazar district – the municipality of Mardakian in settlements Mardakian and Shagan, which are part of the municipalities of Mardakian and Shagan;

In Garadagh district - Sangachal municipality in settlements Cheyildag, Sangachal and Umid, which are part of the municipalities of Cheyildag, Sangachal and Umid; Gizildash municipality in settlements Korgez, Gizildash, Puta and Shongar, which are part of the municipalities of Chilov-Oil Stones, Gurgyan and Pirallahi.

According to Pirallakhi district – Pirallakhi municipality is located in settlements Chilov, Gurgyan, Oil Rocks and Pirallakhi, which are part of the municipalities of Chilov-Oil Rocks, Gurgyan and Pirallakhi.

According to Sabail district– it is the Sabail municipality in Sabail district (with exception of the territory of the Badamdar municipality), which is part of the municipalities of Bibi-Eibat and Sabail.
