November 27, Fineko/abc.az. The date of the municipal elections in Azerbaijan has been announced.

ABC.AZ reports that CEC chairman Mazakhir Panakhov informed about this at today's meeting of the Central Election Commission.

Municipal elections in Azerbaijan are scheduled for January 29, 2025.

According to the Electoral Code, municipal elections are called by the CEC, and the relevant decision is officially published no later than 60 days before the voting day. Municipal elections are held every 5 years. The last municipal elections were held in 2019.
