November 28, Fineko/abc.az. Pension capital proposals are based on international practice, MP and economist Vugar Bayramov said.

"We regularly present our proposals on the social sphere, including the pension system, at committee meetings and plenary sessions of the Milli Majlis. Some of these proposals have already been reflected in legislation, including on changing the rules of unemployment insurance and such active programs as targeted social assistance," he said.

Bayramov noted that in this regard, models of the pension system of a number of countries have been studied and proposals have been submitted.

"As MPs, we make our proposals, and the evaluation of proposals is carried out by the government, as the impact of the financial burden on all sectors is assessed. We’ll continue to submit proposals on both pension and other social issues. We consider it advisable to introduce in Azerbaijan the practices applied in the world today in relation to pension capital, including development and implementation of a new mechanism related to the use of pension capital," he said.
