November 28, Fineko/abc.az. There are about 40 Latvian companies in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ informs that AZPROMO executive director Yusif Abdullayev said about this on the sidelines of the Azerbaijani-Latvian Information & Networking Meeting.

"We are confident that this indicator can be increased. This applies both to bilateral relations and to the expansion of trade turnover and the activities of companies. In 2023, we visited the Riga Food exhibition as guests. In 2024, in connection with the preparation for COP29, all our resources and efforts were focused on this event, and in autumn we practically did not participate in international exhibitions, with exception of Shanghai. But in 2025, we plan to participate in this event, which traditionally takes place in autumn.

Before that, we had already agreed to visit the traditional agricultural exhibition, which is being held in Latvia, and we are also planning a similar event in Azerbaijan. After that, we intend to participate in Riga Food as a platform for further interaction.

In addition, several events are planned for 2025 with the Latvian Chamber of Commerce & Industry and other venues. We are confident these steps will contribute to expansion of bilateral ties," he stressed.
