November 29, Fineko/abc.az. The fine for violation of the requirements for the protection of animal and plant species listed in the Red Book or specially protected species increases more than by 10 times.

ABC.AZ reports that this is reflected in the amendment to the Code of Administrative Offences discussed at today's meeting of the Milli Majlis.

According to the draft law, individuals who fail to comply with these requirements will be fined from 1,000 to 1,300 manats, officials - from 3,000 to 4,000 manats, legal entities – from 6,000 to 8000 manats.

Under valid law, fines range from 500 to 700 manats.

The bill was put to the vote and adopted in the third reading.
