November 29, Fineko/abc.az. Apple has released an update to Locator application, which has function Share Item Location that allows finding luggage lost on an airplane or at the airport.

ABC.AZ reports that now thanks to the new feature, iPhone, iPad and Mac users can share the location of the AirTag tracker.

The innovation will simplify the search for lost items, as passengers will be able to quickly and conveniently inform airlines about the location of their suitcases with AirTag.

To share the location of the suitcase, the passenger must open the Locator app on the device and select the Share Item Location function for the desired item. A link will be displayed that should be shared with airline representatives via messengers or other communication channels. After opening it, the employee will see an interactive map with the location of the label.
