December 2, Fineko/abc.az. As of November 1, 2024, the total loan portfolio of Azerbaijani banks in foreign currency amounted to 4.6 billion manats.

ABC.AZ informs with reference to the Central Bank that the total amount of loans given in Baku in the national currency exceeded slightly 4.4 billion manats.

Loans in foreign currency for 71.7 million manats were given in Zagatala district.

The amount of loans given to the city of Sumgait in foreign currency reached 45.2 million manats.

The city of Ganja took the 4th place with 16.8 million manats.

As for the districts, in terms of the amount of loans in foreign currency, Shirvan district took 5th place with 15.7 million manats, Khachmaz district - 6th place with 9.6 million manats, Gabala district – 7th place with 6.8 million manats, Gazakh district - 8th place with 4.6 million manats, Aghdash district The district is in 9th place with 2.8 million manats. The last place in Top 10 was occupied by Tovuz district with 2.4 million manats. Guba district also gave loans in foreign currency in this amount.

The least of all loans in foreign currency were given to the districts of Salyan - 100,000 manats, Fuzuli, Jalilabad and Neftchala  - loans for 200,000 manats, Nakhchivan city and Yevlakh district  - loans for 300,000 manats.
