December 2, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan sold 8,968 tons of watermelons abroad for Jan-Sept 2024.

ABC.AZ informs that country’s earnings from export of this product reached $4.237 million.

The average price of a kilogram of exported watermelon was 47 cents (80 gapiks). The country where the most expensive watermelons were sold is Saudi Arabia.

So, 10,140 kg of watermelons were sold to this country, which brought income for $104,500. The average price of 1 kg of watermelon sold was 17.8 manats.
