December 4, Fineko/abc.az. The total volume of the artificial intelligence technology industry in China exceeds 500 billion yuans (about $70.4 billion).

ABC.AZ reports that Li Chang, the chairman of the State Council of the People's Republic of China, said about this at the opening ceremony of the World Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Shanghai.

According to Chang, the use of artificial intelligence is expanding in manufacturing, transport, education, medicine and other fields.

He said that such rapid development of related technologies has raised concerns about legislation, ethics and a number of issues, including that artificial intelligence could become the biggest threat to human civilization:

"China attaches great importance to the safe management of artificial intelligence, gradually implementing a strict code of ethics and regulatory system. He evaluates the impact of artificial intelligence and implements multi-level management, which provides China's practical experience in global artificial intelligence management."
