December 4, Fineko/abc.az. Over the past 11 months, 2,412,160 tourists visited Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports that the number of arrivals in the country increased by 27.5% versus Jan-Nov 2023 - 1,892,165 tourists).

This November, 202,440 tourists arrived in Azerbaijan (19.5% more against Jan-Nov 2023 - 169,461 people).

Over Jan-Nov 2024, the majority of tourists in Azerbaijan were Russian citizens. The number of Russian tourists visiting our country grew by 17.7% or 102,144 people compared with the 2023 same term and reached 679,903 people.

Tourists from Turkey took the 2nd place among the foreign tourists who arrived in Azerbaijan. Their number increased by 13.8% or 47,301 people up to 389,173 people.

India ranks 3rd with 214,669 tourists. The number of tourists from India increased by 115% or 114,891 people versus the relevant period of 2023.
