December 6, Fineko/abc.az. SpaceX founder Elon Musk's artificial intelligence (AI) startup xAI has attracted about $6 billion in investments.

ABC.AZ reports that the company is seeking to strengthen its position in the generative AI market, including by increasing the power of the Colossus AI supercomputer, in which it plans to include at least a million GPUs. In addition, last month, the startup expanded its claims against OpenAI, stating that the creator of the chatbot based on AI ChatGPT seeks to monopolize the AI market, infringing on the rights of its competitors.

The startup's value after attracting investments exceeded $50 billion. Against this background, in October, OpenAI closed an investment round in which it raised $ 6.6 billion, after which company's capitalization was estimated at $157 billion.

Startup xAI was founded by Musk in 2023. In November of the same year, the company first introduced a chatbot based on Grok AI. The neural network is available to users with a premium subscription to X.
