SpaceX launches SXM-9 geostationary communications satellite into orbit

December 6, Fineko/abc.az. Carrier rocket Falcon 9 has launched from the site of the NASA Space Center at Cape Canaveral in Florida and launched a satellite for broadcasting company Sirius XM .

ABC.AZ reports that the seven-ton spacecraft was successfully launched into a geostationary near-Earth orbit with height of about 36,000 km. The main purpose of the satellite is to provide new-generation digital broadcasting in the S-band.
