December 6, Fineko/abc.az. Investments in artificial intelligence (AI) are of strategic importance for Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ informs that Deputy Minister of Economy Elnur Aliyev said this at the VIII Istanbul Economic Summit in Turkey.

He noted that Azerbaijan currently supports 600 companies in the AI sector: "By 2040, we plan to create $40 billion worth of added value in the AI sector. That means $2.5 billion a year."

Aliyev noted that AI will increase productivity and maintain business sustainability: ”We must expand our cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence."
