September 3, Fineko/abc.az. In compliance with the Law on Employment of Azerbaijan from 29 June 2018 only legal entities have the right to carry out mediation activity in the employment of the unemployed and job seekers and in the employment of citizens of Azerbaijan in foreign countries.  

Then e-register of these persons by district (city) employment centers of the State Employment Service under the Ministry of Labor & Social Protection will be conducted. The relevant rules and requirements will be defined for maintaining the register. 

Legal entities engaged in mediation in the employment of job seekers and unemployed persons must provide information to employment centers about the number of persons applying for employment and persons provided with work. They will exchange data in e-form with employment centers regarding the information collected.
Also, the new Law on Employment also contains articles on the liability of legal entities that have violated the requirements of the legislation on mediation activities in employment.
