December 9, Fineko/abc.az. The Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation plans to modernize the port infrastructure of Makhachkala and Derbent for development of international cruise routes with Azerbaijan, Iran, Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan.

ABC.AZ informs that for this it is necessary to create checkpoints across the state border in ports, as well as sign intergovernmental agreements, Ministry’s satement says.

Next year, a new cruise ship will enter the waters of the Caspian Sea for the first time.
