EU obtains almost 12% of raw materials from recycled materials

December 9, Fineko/abc.az. 11.8% of raw materials in the EU were obtained from recycled materials. This is the highest figure in the entire history of the union.

ABC.AZ informs that such data is provided by EU statistical service Eurostat, analyzing data for 2023, the Euro Pulse portal writes on December 9.

Most often in the European Union, metal ores are recycled and reused - 24.7%, followed by non-metallic minerals, for example: sand, gravel, limestone, clay (13.6%) and biomass (10.1%).
