December 10, Fineko/abc.az. The creation of private pension funds will begin in Azerbaijan.

The Draft Law on Non-State Pension Funds has been prepared and submitted for approval to the relevant authorities, ABC.AZ informs with reference to the State Social Protection Fund.

As a result of discussions with relevant bodies, joint work is underway with reps of relevant organizations to improve the project in order to form the legal, economic and financial foundations for activities of private pension funds, identify mechanisms for monitoring the activities of these funds.
