December 10, Fineko/abc.az. The unemployment rate in Turkey in October increased by 0.1 points compared with the previous month - up to 8.8%, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Statistical Office of Turkey (TÜIK), which published labor force statistics for October.

The number of the unemployed over the age of 15 in the country increased by 61,000 people and reached 3.175 million people.

The unemployment rate grew by 0.3 points compared with the same month of 2023. The unemployment rate was 6.9% for men and 12.3% for women.
