December 10, Fineko/abc.az. New members have been appointed to the Anti-Corruption Commission of Azerbaijan.
ABC.AZ informs that this is reflected in the draft decision "On the appointment of members of the Anti-Corruption Commission of Azerbaijan", submitted for discussion and adopted at today's meeting of the Milli Majlis.
According to the draft, the new members of the Anti-Corruption Commission are Milli Majlis’ deputy chairman Ziyafet Askerov, head of the Parliamentary Committee on Defense, Security & Anti-Corruption Arzu Nagiyev, MP Amina Agazade, chairman of the Accounts Chamber Vugar Gulmamedov and head of the Milli Majlis Staff Farid Hajiyev.
The Commission consists of 15 members.
Five members of the commission are appointed by the President of Azerbaijan, five members by the Milli Majlis and five members by the Constitutional Court of Azerbaijan.
Earlier, the members of the commission appointed by the Milli Majlis were former deputy chairman of the Milli Majlis Adil Aliyev, ex-MP Elshad Mirbashir, MPs Amina Aghazade, Arzu Nagiyev and head of the Milli Majlis Staff Farid Hajiyev.
