December 12, Fineko/abc.az. Currently, every citizen, legal entity or individual in Azerbaijan can install a renewable electricity supply system with capacity of up to 100 kilowatts (solar energy), ABC.AZ reports, quoting Deputy Energy Minister Elnur Soltanov.

"That's a pretty big number. For example, the power of solar panels, which a family will need on average, is 4-5 kilowatts," the deputy minister noted.

Ilnur Sultanov added that the prices of solar panels are falling rapidly, over the past 10 years their cost has decreased to 90%.
