December 12, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan is working over master plans on 16 cities, ABC.AZ reports, quoting Anar Guliyev, the chairman of the State Committee for Urban Planning & Architecture.

"Over the past 6 years, master plans on 26 cities have been drafted and approved. Currently, the Committee is preparing master plans of 16 cities. Of them, in 9 cities, this process is at the final stage of coordination with the relevant bodies. After completion of this process, the projects will be sent to the Cabinet Ministers for approval," Guliyev said.

He emphasized that the master plan of the city of Ismayilli is also at the stage of completion.
