December 12, Fineko/abc.az. The number of operating industrial zones in our country has reached 13, including 9 with status of industrial parks and 4 with status of industrial quarters.

ABC.AZ infors that according to Economic Zones Development Agency’s press secretary Elchin Kazimov, the Masalli Industrial Quarter was created by the presidential decree from June 13, 2016.

The Industrial Quarter covers an area of 10 hectares, and its main activity is the production of furniture, construction products, and tobacco processing.

"In the Masalli Industrial Quarter, the resident status was assigned to 8 business entities with an investment capital of 6.2 million manats. 2.1 million manats of investments have been made in the work done by entrepreneurs, 70 jobs have been created. At the next stage, in addition to existing projects, 4.1 million manats are to be invested in the industrial quarter, and 159 jobs will be created," Kazimov said, noting that 14.2 million manats worth of products have so far been produced in the Masalli Industrial Quarter.
