December 13, Fineko/abc.az. Statistical data on those who arrived in Azerbaijan and left our country for Jan-Nov 2024 has been published.

ABC.AZ informs that compared with Jan-Nov 2023, the number of arrivals from the EU member states grew by 37.3% up to 106,000 people, from the Persian Gulf countries by 25.3% up to 391,900 people, from the CIS countries by 19.4% up to 905,800 people. 75.9% of foreigners and stateless persons arrived in our country by air, 22.9% by rail and road, and 1.2% by sea.

Compared with Jan-Nov 2023, the total number of citizens of Azerbaijan traveling abroad increased by 16.9% up to 1.998 million people. The number of Azerbaijani travelers to Iran grew by 33.0%, to the Russian Federation by 13.4%, to Georgia by 13.0%, to Turkey by 9.9%. 41.4% of Azerbaijani citizens visited Turkey, 20.6% - the Russian Federation, 8.7% - Georgia, 8.6% - Iran, 20.7% are from other countries. Males made up 63.9% of the population and females 36.1%.

Over Jan-Nov 2024, 69.5% of Azerbaijani citizens visiting foreign countries traveled by air, 28.4% by rail and road, and 2.1% by sea.
