December 20, Fineko/abc.az. Measures are underway on return to Azerbaijan the finances received from export of agricultural products, ABC.AZ informs, referring to the Prosecutor General's Office.

Based on information received from the State Customs Committee that some business entities exporting various types of products to foreign countries have not returned finances in the appropriate currency to Azerbaijan, criminal cases have been initiated in the Prosecutor's Office and a preliminary investigation is underway.

As a result of activities conducted by the prosecutor's offices of Agdash, Kurdamir, Astara, Ujar, Absheron, Khachmaz, Beylagan, Khizi, Sabirabad, Geranboy, Aghstafa districts and the city of Mingachevir, more than $41.3 million (over 70.2 million manats) received by some business entities were returned to accounts in authorized banks from export of agricultural products to foreign countries.
