December 23, Fineko/abc.az. Grain production in the EU and the UK in 2025 will reach 297.8 million tons from 278.5 million tons in 2024.

ABC.AZ informs that the forecast was given by European grain traders association COCERA.

Wheat production is expected to reach 140.4 million tons against 125.5 million tons in 2024. There is a hope that 59.7 million tons of barley will be received against 57.3 million tons, and 61.9 million tons of corn against 60.2 million tons.

FranceAgriMer forecasts a decrease in exports of French soft wheat to 4 million tons by the end of the year (61% less than a year earlier). The forecast for exports within the EU has been lowered to 6 million tons, by 4.5% compared to last year.
