September 5, Fineko/abc.az. The State Commission, established on behalf of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, led by First Deputy Prime Minister Yagub Eyubov, has published a conclusion on the results of its investigation of the two-day accident in country’s power grid.

Commission’s conclusion says that one of the main causes of the 3 July  2018 accident in the energy system of Azerbaijan was full non-readiness of national electricity supply  operator Azerenerji and the existing technical and other shortcomings in Company's activity, which did not allow to respond adequately to the incident.

Commission’s all-round and extensive conclusion, reflecting the available problems and cases that led to the accident, has been submitted to the country’s leader.

"Having familiarized himself the Commission’s conclusion, President Aliyev dismissed Azerenerji’s chairman Etibar Pirverdiyev from his post for shortcomings in his work," the Commission says in a statement.
