 January 6, Fineko/abc.az. In accordance with the amendments made to the Tax Code, the application of new tax incentives in the cultural sector has begun. The purpose of the new changes is to stimulate development of this sector by raising more investments. At that, this may lead to lower costs for a number of services in the cultural sector, as well as lower prices.

ABC.AZ informs that MP and economist Vugar Bayramov wrote about this on his social network account.

He noted that VAT refunds have already started in the cultural sector since this month.

"Thus, 50% of VAT (VAT cashback) paid by wire transfer for services rendered in the field of theatrical performances, film screenings, museum visits and symphony orchestra concerts is reimbursed. That is, cashback is already being applied for cultural services," the MP said.
