Georgia increases cooperation with China

January 10, Fineko/abc.az. Georgian PM Irakli Kobakhidze met with Chinese Ambassador to Georgia Zhou Qian.

"During the conversation, issues of cooperation in the areas stipulated by Georgia-China Strategic Partnership Agreement, as well as positive dynamics of development of trade and economic ties were discussed. It was noted that the free trade agreement and visa-free regime, as well as people-to-people relations, represent a good opportunity for further development of bilateral relations. The parties confirmed their readiness to further strengthen results-oriented cooperation," the Government Administration informs in a statement.

Kobakhidze also met with the Chinese ambassador in December 2024, when special attention was paid to Chinese partners’ participation in the Anaklia port project.
