January 13, Fineko/abc.az. "The State Budget plans to allocate 27 million manats to the Karabakh University and the Turkish-Azerbaijani University in 2025."
ABC.AZ informs that Deputy Minister of Science & Education and head of the working group on human capital & education Kenan Kerimzade informed about this to newspaper Azerbaijani Teacher.
The deputy minister noted that the current academic year marked the beginning of the work of a number of new universities in the higher education system of our country:
"In the academic year 2024-25, the Karabakh University began its activities. This academic year, 1,104 students were accepted to the bachelor's degree level of Karabakh University, and the admission plan was fulfilled by 98.5%. Of the students who entered the university, 101 scored more than 600 points, and 385 scored over 500 points. This year, the State Budget stipulates 17 million manats to support university's activities. The construction of infrastructure at the Turkish-Azerbaijani University is also ongoing at a high pace. In 2025, 10 million manats are envisaged in the State Budget to ensure university's activities and increase student enrollment."
