January 15, Fineko/abc.az. As of January 1, the number of active VAT-payers in state-registered commercial organizations reached 40,416 (a rise of 15.7% against the previous year).

ABC.AZ informs that the share of VAT-payers in the total registration was 32.2%.

Of the registered commercial legal entities, 91.4% are LLC companies, 1.2% are joint-stock companies, 1.1% are cooperatives and other forms.

As of January 1, 2025, 125,696 registered commercial organizations were active. Compared to the beginning of 2024, the number of active commercial organizations increased by 11.6%.
