January 28, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan and the World Bank discussed the Azerbaijan Scaling-up Renewable Energy Project (AZURE).

ABC.AZ informs, referring to the Agency for Energy Regulation (under the Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan), Agency’s chairman of board Samir Akhundov received a WB delegation led by Senior Energy Specialist Roger Koma Kunil, who is on a visit to Azerbaijan.

The sides discussed the assessment of AZURE, taking into account changes in the project, technical assistance aimed at supporting the energy sector, as well as tariff policy issues and prospects for continued further cooperation.
The parties exchanged views on tariff policy, as well as reviewed the areas of support offered by the WB and prospects for further cooperation.
