January 28, Fineko/abc.az. Turkish company Cengiz Insaat has completed the construction of the Zabukhay water-storage reservoir in Lachin district.

ABC.AZ informs, referring to company's project manager Akram Tutunchu, that the reservoir is intended to provide irrigation water to agricultural lands in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan.

The manager noted that, in addition to the reservoir, the company has completed the construction of two highways from Fuzuli to Shusha (including the Victory Road), contributing a total of 3 strategic projects in the liberated territories.

The Zabukhchay reservoir holds 27 million cu m of water. The capacity of the main irrigation canal from the reservoir is 6.2 cu m. The reservoir is capable of providing irrigation water to 12,100 hectares of land in Gubadli and Zangilan districts.
