January 28, Fineko/abc.az. Hungary will maintain a unilateral ban on the import of agricultural products from Ukraine until the European Union finds an acceptable solution to the problem of Ukrainian exports to the European market.

ABC.AZ informs that Hungarian Minister of Agriculture Istvan Nagy made this statement after a meeting with colleagues from EU countries in Brussels.

He recalled that the agreement, which regulates the import of Ukrainian agricultural products to the countries of the community, expires in June and the current agreement poorly protects the interests of European farmers.

"Even quota deliveries have caused serious problems in the markets of some EU countries," Nagy said.
