February 5, Fineko/abc.az. The UK will finance the supply of grain from Ukraine to Syria for 3 million pounds (approx. $3.72 million).

ABC.AZ reports, refering to the British Foreign Ministry’s statement, published in connection with the visit of the head of the country's department to Kiev.

Earlier, Ukrainian media reported that British Foreign Secretary David Lammy arrived in Ukraine on Wednesday on a working visit to discuss, in particular, "joint security projects".

According to Ministry’s statement, "fulfilling the promise that PM Keir Starmer made" to Vladimir Zelensky two weeks ago, "the UK is providing 3 million pounds for the supply of Ukrainian grain and food to Syria".
