Kiev intends to impose sanctions against citizens and companies from Russia

February 5, Fineko/abc.az. The Ukrainian government has prepared and is going to apply new sanctions against citizens and companies from Russia.

ABC.AZ reports, quoting  Alexander Litvinenko, Secretary of the National Security & Defense Council of Ukraine, as saying this during a meeting of the Council.

"The Security Service of Ukraine, together with the intelligence units of the Foreign Intelligence Service, proposed to impose restrictions against 83 people for their participation in facilitating the export of Russian petroleum products. Speech is about the so-called shadow fleet," Litvinenko emphasized.

Also, at the suggestion of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine, it is planned to impose sanctions against 41 individuals and 47 legal entities associated with the production of Russian films, as well as against organizations allegedly involved in the formation, production and dissemination of narratives directed against Ukraine.

According to Ukrainian president’s official website, lists of persons subject to sanctions will soon be published.
