February 6, Fineko/abc.az. To date, the Entrepreneurship Development Fund has given preferential loans for 142.4 million manats for the creation of 16 agricultural parks.

ABC.AZ infoms, quoting Seymur Adigezalov, the chairman of board of the Economic Zones Development Agency, that 17 agricultural parks that received an investment promotion document received benefits in the amount of 16.5 million manats for the import of machinery, technological equipment and installations.

"3,720 people are provided with permanent jobs in registered agricultural parks, and 4,878 people are involved in seasonal work. At the next stage, it is planned to create more than 1,600 additional permanent jobs. In 2024, out of 42,500 hectares of land involved in crop rotation, 35,700 hectares are irrigated territories, 26,000 hectares (73%) of which have progressive irrigation systems installed," he said.
