February 6, Fineko/abc.az. The business confidence index in Azerbaijan increased in December 2024 in all sectors except construction.

ABC.AZ reports, referring to the Central Bank, that the industrial index rose from 11.5 to 13.4 points in December, the construction confidence index rose from minus 14.4 to minus 3.8 points, the services sector confidence index rose from 22.2 to 23.0 points, and in retail trade fell from 26.7 to 19.7 points.

Business Trend Indices in the Real Sector are statistical indicators that measure business activity in the manufacturing and service sectors of the economy. These indices mainly reflect the opinion of entrepreneurs and companies about the current situation and future expectations.

In almost all sectors, consumers or services have raised their price expectations.
