February 7, Fineko/abc.az. Khalq Bank OJSC increased all interest rates. For example, the interest rates for domestic mortgage, which used to be 9%, is now 11%.

ABC.AZ reports that according to the new decision, the state mortgage interest rate was increased from 7% to 9%.

Consumer credit interest rate has grown the most. Thus, the interest rate of consumer loans in Khalq Bank was increased up to 18%.

The new interest rates have been applied since today.

The bank's employees did not know about the new decision, and everyone found out about the interest rate increase this morning.

Experts in the banking sector believe that this will lead to stagnation and weakening of the market.
