February 11, Fineko/abc.az. Dubai received 18.72 million foreign tourists in 2024 (9% more agaijnst the previous year), when the metropolis recorded 17.15 million visitors, ABC.AZ reports, referring to the Department of Economy &Tourism of the Emirate (DET).

Among the key factors are expansion of international partnerships, large-scale events and the growing hospitality sector. They add that large infrastructure projects such as expansion of Al Maktoum International Airport and extension of the blue line of the Dubai Metro will further enhance the tourist attractiveness of the city.
