February 12, Fineko/abc.az. Russian gas supplies to Slovakia have resumed via the Turkish Stream pipeline, ABC.AZ reports, citing Slovakian PM Robert Fico on his page in social networks.

"Russian gas is starting to flow to Slovakia through the Turkish Stream due to the efforts of the Russian and Turkish sides. They need to be thanked for this," he wrote.

Slovak media reported earlier that on February 1, Gazprom began supplying gas to Slovak company SPP through the Turkish Stream pipeline.

Gas supplies will be carried out, as follows from the contract, until 2034. According to media reports, Russian gas supplies to the republic are expected to double from April.
