February 12, Fineko/abc.az. According to Mohammed Abdullah Al Ghargawi, Minister of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and chairman of the World Government Summit, by 2050, more than 20 billion robots will serve people, changing their way of life, labor markets and societies.

ABC.AZ informs that he made this prediction during his speech at the opening of the 2025 World Government Summit «Shaping Future Governments».

Analyzing the past 25 years, the minister described this period as a turbulent and transformative era.

He said: "Today, the world's population has reached 8.2 billion people, and by 2024, the global economy has grown from $34 trillion to $115 trillion. During the same period, international trade grew from $7 trillion to $33 trillion."

Gargavi noted the shift from traditional industries such as oil, heavy manufacturing, and financial services to technology firms and digital platforms with an economic advantage.
