February 14, Fineko/abc.az. In 2024, 314 insurance claims were registered in Azerbaijan on issued "Green Cards", and payments in the amount of 1.2 million manats were made.

ABC.AZ reports that Compulsory Insurance Bureau’s chief information manager Anar Samedov said this during his speech at the Azerbaijan Financial Forum.

He noted that 40,038 contracts were concluded and 2.5 million manats of insurance premiums collected.

"In 2024, 468 insured events were recorded in Azerbaijan within general insurance Green Card, and the total amount of insurance payments amounted to 2.5 million manats. 50,207 contracts were concluded within the general Green Card, and the total amount of the gathered premiums amounted to 7.2 million manats.

154 insurance cases were registered abroad using Green Cards, and compensation in the amount of 1.2 million manats was paid. In total, 10,169 insurance contracts were registered, and 4.7 million manats of premiums were collected," Samedov said.
