February 14, Fineko/abc.az. Three Kazakhstani banks - Halyk Bank, Kaspi Bank and Bank VTB OJSC - resumed issuing payment cards to non-residents.
"The card can be opened at a bank branch if you have a residence permit," ABC.AZ was informed at Halyk Bank.
Kaspi Bank opens a payment card for non-residents on the same terms.
"Citizens of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) countries, as well as foreigners with a residence permit in Kazakhstan, can receive Kaspi Gold," the bank said.
At that, VTB (Kazakhstan) resumed issuing Mir cards to non-residents of the country.
"The bank has fully configured its systems and is ready to work according to the new requirements of the legislation of the republic - the validity period of the cards will now be 12 months. At that, for diplomatic workers and non-resident investors, the validity period of the cards can be extended up to 3 years," Bank VTB says on its website.
