February 17, Fineko/abc.az. A moratorium on inspection in the field of entrepreneurship has been extended in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports that President Ilham Aliyev signed a law on amendments to the Law on the suspension of inspections in the field of entrepreneurship.

The deadline for suspending inspections expired on January 1, 2025, but it was extended for another year.

During this period, only tax audits and inspections are allowed in cases that pose a threat to human life and health, state security and economic interests. Their list and procedure are determined by the relevant executive authority.

The ban does not apply to inspections conducted by the Prosecutor General's Office as part of the investigation of corruption crimes.

Entrepreneurs who encounter inspections that violate the requirements of the law can appeal them to the executive authorities, the prosecutor's office, as well as administratively and judicially.
