February 19, Fineko/abc.az. President Donald Trump has said that he is likely to impose duties on imports of automobiles, semiconductors and pharmaceutical products in the amount of about 25%, and that an announcement about this will be made as early as April 2.

ABC.AZ reports that those measures are aimed at supporting American manufacturers and encouraging the transfer of production to the U.S.

Earlier, in February, similar duties were imposed on steel and aluminum imports. Key industries are now subject to the new tariffs, which could affect global trade.
