February 19, Fineko/abc.az. There has been an increase in the production of motor gasoline and diesel fuel in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ informs, with reference to the State Statistics Committee, that diesel fuel production for January 2025 reached 225,000 tons and gasoline - 124,000 tons.

The production of diesel fuel grew by 26% against January 2024, and gasoline - by 7%.

This is the highest figure ever recorded after August 2024, when diesel production amounted to 232,000 tons.

In 2024, Azerbaijan produced 1,254,800 tons of gasoline and 2,061,900 tons of diesel fuel. The country imported 262,430 tons of AI92 gasoline for $225.85 million from abroad.
