February 26, Fineko/abc.az. In 2025, approx. 10,000 people are to relocate to the city of Aghdam and three villages, and more than 20,000 people will return to the city in 2026.

ABC.AZ reports that Emin Huseynov, Azerbaijani President’s Special Representative for Aghdam, Fuzuli and Khojavend districts, stated journalists about this.

He added that they will live in four residential blocks in the city.

Huseynov previously informed that the settlement of the city of Aghdam is scheduled for autumn 2025. It is planned to create five neighborhoods in the city.

In Aghdam district, construction works are ongoing in three villages - Kengerli, Khidirli, Sarijali.
